Orange Creamsicle Kettle Sour

A 4.2% abv kettle-sour with just the right amount of orange juice and clementine zest to bring forth a mimosa vibe. Additions of vanilla and lactose sugar sweeten the finish and add a luscious mouthfeel to this already insanely drinkable beer.

Sam’s Take

As the end of the year approached and we were brewing a lot of big heavy beers, we wanted to have some fun with a kettle sour, something a little lighter. Being that it was the holidays, we were already having fun playing around with orange flavours on some other beers. We were brewing a kettle sour and decided that it would be fun to brew something not only with the orange but also something that brought us back to our childhood. The holidays are a nostalgic time and the idea of enjoying an Orange Creamsicle was something that instantly transported us back to our youth. The citrus snap of the orange upfront along with the creamy vanilla ice cream finish together just screamed childhood memories.
