Blackberry Juicin’ & Peach Juicin’

Our most popular New England IPA Jucin’ meets fruit in these two new brews for our next double down series!

First up, we’ve got an impenetrably hazy and impossibly hop-forward IPA fermented with Vermont Ale yeast and mounds of blackberries to fruit up your summer.

Next up, same deal, but with peaches. Thirsty? Us too.

Try Blackberry Juicin’ & Peach Juicin’ in-store and online Thursday, August 22nd.

Brewers’ Take

Caleb and James are at it again with these fruited variants of Juicin’.

Why fruited variants?  I think the better question is why not!  We wanted to do something fun and kinda over the top, and thought why not add a bunch of fruit!  We went with peach because it’s featured on the label and there is a strong peachiness people pick up on, and we wanted to play to that.  We also chose blackberry mostly because blackberries are so so good and it’s very satisfying to pour a beer with a deep colour to it.

“Doubling down is one of the most thrilling moves in Blackjack. It allows you to double your bet in the middle of a hand in exchange for one extra card. It’s a risky gamble. This can lead to more timid players avoiding the double bet, and more adventurous players making it far too often. It’s important to try and strike a balance between sensible safe play and risky double downs in order to maximize your potential.”

So why the heck would we double-down in the year of 52 beers? Well we aren’t exactly timid at Sawdust City and we’re into the adventure, after all, 52 beers just isn’t enough for us … I guess. So this week, we bring you not one, but two, new releases.
