‘9.86960’ released for Cranberry Capital Celebration

Written by

9.86960, we’re at it again. We’ve taken our Gateway Kolsch, a classic lagered ale and blended it with local cranberry juice from Johnston’s Cranberry Marsh. Then we added generous amounts of orange peel, vanilla & just a hint of cinnamon. We like to think of it kind of like a pie, except with cranberries. Do pies have cranberries? This ‘beer pie’ version does. You get the idea.

You’ve got to get into the brewery to try it. It’s available in The Saloon while quantities last. Yes you can get growler fills, ’cause we love ya!

Don’t forget it’s Bala Cranberry Festival this weekend. There’s shuttle service to the festival running back and forth from the brewery all weekend. And new this year, we’ll be taking part in the festivities pouring Blood of Cthulhu Imperial Stout, flavoured with local cranberries from Johnston’s Cranberry Marsh, along with other fan favourite brews.
